Sangam University in collaboration with Sangam School of Excellence has been organising an Art and Craft Fest “Ashayein 2016”. The fest presents an exceptionally wide selection of traditional and contemporary melange of Kawad art (Rare art of Bassi), Thewa Art (Rare and antique art of Pratapgarh), Jute work, Bandhej Art, art, Phad Painting, drawing, sculpture, and photography and other craftwork.
This exhibition will provide a platform to the talented students of Sangam to showcase and promote the rare art of Rajasthan. This fest will also develop entrepreneurship skills of the students. We are excited to invite you to join us for this Art and Craft Festival to be held on October 27, 2016 from 2:00 pm till 6:00 pm on Thursday at Sangam University Campus.
Also if any student is interested in learning candle making or clay work give your names at the earliest to Mrs. Alka Agarwal. Expert will be arranged for the same.

La-Union has been derived from the Spanish word means “The Union”. It symbolizes the union or confluence of talent, intellect and creativity. There was a plethora of conventional and novel contest in the fields of Music, Dance, Sports, and Drama. The day started with a boom of sportsmen spirit in the courts of Basketball and Volleyball followed by the splash of colors in Tee-it and Graffiti.
This fun loving environment was trailed by scintillating performances of ITM and Sangam students. The cultural program included dazzling Indo-western dances, melodious musical performances, mime acts, drama. On this occasion Chief Guest Mr. Dinesh Patwari, Commissioner Income Tax released the second issue of University magazine “Education Quotient”.
Foundation Day17 May 2014
Sangam University celebrated its 2nd Foundation Day on 17 May 2014, in the campus. On this occasion, President, Sangam University, Prof. B.R. Natarajan felicitated every one for the successful completion of the voyage. The day was commemorated with the release of multicolor balloons in the sky, symbolizes various aspirations of Sangamites touching the sky.
Orientation Day4 August 2014
Students began their journey at the University on the 4th of August 2014 with an Orientation Programme. It was a two days learning experience in which President Sangam University Prof. B.R. Natarajan briefed about the rules, regulations and unique opportunities available at SU. The programme helps the students to familiarize themselves with the university and to make new friends through various quiz contest, games, and group activities. As part of our orientation programme, students are taken to industrial set ups to acquaint themselves with the operations of the particular factory. This year, the freshmen were delighted to have had the opportunity to visit Sangam process.
Dandiya Nite1 October 2014
on the auspicious occasion of Navratra celebration with fun and frolic dandiya started with the traditional “Durga pooja”. The fervor of festival drenched University and its students donned it with vibrant chaniya-cholis, kurta and grooved to the dandiya beats. Later on Mr. and Ms. Garba title was taken by Shubham Garg, BBA III Sem and Prachi Sharma, B.Tech III Sem. and the best dancers of the event was Mr. Rishabh Soni, BCA I year and Ms. Priyanka Singh MBA final year. The event was organized and managed by our own students.

The National Law Day was celebrated at Campus with a Poster Making Competition on 26th of November various themes were given to the students like Child Labor, Women Empowerment, Domestic violence, Consumer Laws, Traffic Regulation. Around nineteen students took part in this competition. The team of Akshay Totla and Aashita Rathi was runners up, the first position bagged by Jaya Lalwani and Ayushi Sharma.

La Union, Sangamites spread the colors over their audience. This maiden fest was a perfect blend of dance, music and drama. Scintillating performances of students captivated the audience. The cultural program included various dazzling dance and melodious musical performances that bound everybody to tap their feet and sway on the beats. This programme achieved great success as the joyful and excited faces of parents and students reflected the success of the annual eve. The event enthralled the students and left everyone spellbound.
First time in the history of Bhilwara, a young and versatile Rock Star singer-performer the Indian Lady Gaga Ambili Menon had set stage on fire in Sangam University music festival. Her electrifying connectivity with the students and dazzling performances spread the aroma of music everywhere. Ambili’s energetic and charming performance mesmerized all the audience and they were taping and dancing on Bollywood and pop songs, it was really spell-bound performance.
Earth Day 2013 Celebrated22 April 2013
The theme for 2013 is “The Face of Climate Change” to achieve the goal of saving the planet which as per a Native American proverb goes as – “We do not inherit the earth from our ancestors; we borrow it from our children.” Sangam University students made a solemn resolve to protect the environment keep the campus clean as well as green and participated in a plantation drive in the campus.

World Press Freedom Day3 May 2013
Theme “Safe to Speak: Securing Freedom of Expression in all Media”, Sangam University Bhilwara organized a panel discussion comprising of experts from judiciary, media and NGOs. Chief Guest Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Mr. C.P. Singh chaired the function along with dignitaries from Judicial department, National Awareness Forum and Print Media addressed the audience which was followed by a question answer session.
First Anniversary celebration of Sangam University17 May 2013
Sangam University is committed to offer quality education at affordable costs with liberal scholarship schemes for the enrolling students who care about what they would be in India tomorrow even though they may come from any part of India today. On the occasion of completion of one year, Sangam University band performed a rock show followed by thought provoking skit on save water at the City Centre Suchna Kendra and Shivaji Park Bhilwara where a large number of public also participated in the proceedings and question answer session on water conservation.
World Environment Day5 June 2013
On the occasion of World Environment Day Sangam University President - Vice Chancellor along with a team of faculty members and students participated in the environment rally held at City Centre Bhilwara organized by Lions Club and LNJ Group in which hundreds of enthusiastic school children marched. He urged the students eating in the campus mess not to waste food served. The celebrations also included a sapling plantation by Board member of Sangam University.

Freshmen welcome is as glamorous as the graduating students convocation function."Where Aspiration Meets Opportunity" Sangam University Bhilwara brings a triveni sangam of intellectual, cultural as well as ethical values which aim to transform the enrolled students as leaders. Behind every great institution, there is a dreamer and the one year young with a ten year legacy, Sangam University is indeed dream comes true of chairperson Shri Ram Pal Soni.
The freshmen welcome function started with a video on Sangam University followed by rendition of Sanskrit shlokas in praise of Lord Ganesh and Goddess Saraswati. Amidst chanting of Mantra and traditional lamp lighting was done by the present dignitaries. Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. B.R. Natarajan urged the students to take up volunteerism to serve the community and advised them to come out of their comfort zones to face unforeseen challenges. On this occasion, Chairperson Shri Ram Pal Soni, Sangam Group Managing Director, Shri S. N. Modani, Sangam Group Executive Director, Shri V. K. Sodani, Ms. Antima Soni Advisor for Strategic Planning and International Collaborations also addressed the newly admitted students to motivate them to be dreamers and achievers in coming times. The dignitaries participated in a tree plantation drive to emphasize on keeping the campus not only clean but also green. Dr. Anuj Nuwal gave the salient features of the examination and grading system at Sangam while Dr. N.K.Mathur highlighted the rules and regulations pertaining to discipline, library, hostel, mess etc. At the end of the orientation, the beaming faces of the students and parents conveyed beyond doubt that they were proud to be part of Sangam University which is destined to achieve glory with the motto "Where Aspiration Meets Opportunity”.
World Humanitarian Day19 August 2013
World Humanitarian Day is a time to recognize those who face danger and adversity in order to help others. Prof. Dr. B.R. Natarajan President - Vice Chancellor gave an overview of the significance of the day and read out the message of UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon message for the day "Every year on August 19th we mark World Humanitarian Day in honor of aid workers, who have lost their lives in the line of duty. We commemorate their sacrifice and reaffirm our commitment to the lifesaving work that humanitarians carry out around the world every day, often in difficult and dangerous circumstances, where others cannot or do not want to go”.

Teacher’s Day Celebration @ SU5 September 2013
Teacher’s day are intended to be a special day for the appreciation of teachers, and may include celebration to honor them for their commendable guidance and support. Sangam University students celebrated teacher’s day and organized a get together party for the teachers. The campus was decorated with beautiful and colorful rangoli. They arranged various interesting activities for teachers like, chit games, tug of war etc. This special occasion was graced by the presence of Ms. Antima Soni, Advisor for Strategic Planning and International Collaborations. At the end, Sangam University Prof. Dr. B.R. Natrajan Sir cut the cake and gave a vote of thanks to the students. All the teachers had enjoyed the day and blessed the students for their bright future.
Hindi Diwas14 September 2013
Language is the armory of the human mind, and at once contains the trophies of its past and the weapons of its future conquests. It was on 14 September way back in 1949, the Constituent Assembly of India had adopted Hindi written in Devnagari script as the Official Language of the Union and hence the same day is observed as Hindi Diwas every year. On this occasion faculty members of Sangam University shared the importance of the day with the students and encouraged them to recite their original Hindi poems. It goes without saying that language indeed shapes the way we think, and also determines what we can think about.

The theme chosen this year for celebrations is "Sustainable Peace for a Sustainable Future." Each year the International Day of Peace is observed all over the world. The significance of the day associated with Om the mystical and sacred Sanskrit sound as well as the number 108 which is a very interesting both metaphysically and mathematically. Students and faculty of Sangam University enthusiastically participated in reciting Om 108 times for the larger cause of world peace.

Orientation Programme6-8 August 2012
The orientation was an exciting three –day programme ,with interactive sessions for freshers . it began with the traditional “Saraswati Puja “ and lamp lighting at the university campus attended by students, teachers and board members . Shri R.P.Soni , the chairperson , addressed the students and spoke about his vision and future plans for the university .The President introduced the students to the exciting new journey they were about to embark upon. He also explained the school’s examination policy, its disciplinary rules and other important rules and regulations that have to be adhered to. Students were engaged in group activities and also expressed their aspirations from Sangam University through an inventive wall writing session. The joyful and enthusiastic faces of the students reflected the pride they felt and how happy they were to be a part of this prestigious University.

The Sangam University organized a special function to mark the 45th Engineers’ Day at the campus on 15th September 2012 . The function started with and innovative e-lamp lighting. At the beginning of the programme , prospective engineers welcomed the theme Dr.N.K. Mathur , principal of Institute of Technology & Management . Dr.Mathur discussed the contribution and described the life sketch of Sir M.Visvesvaraya .Prof. Natrajan said that the engineers need to come up with certain precautionary measures to combat natural disasters and that they should concentrate more on disasters management to control natural disasters collages ,posters and face paintings competition based on the theme “ save Earth “ followed the event.

In our attempt to make the budding generation conscious towards environmental issues ,the international Ozone Day was celebrated on 16th of September .to mark the occasion we had in our presence , the Green man of india , Dr.L.K.Dadhich ,and Mr.V.K. Sodani, ED Sangam india .They were invited to share their valuable experiences with us. Dr.Dadhich practically described the causes and effects of Global Warming and inspired the present generation to preserve the earth by avoiding the use of polythene .He also inaugurated the “Herbal Dhanwantri Park “at Sangam University campus . Mr.V.K.Sodani urged the youth to control the use of ozone depleting substances, emphasizing the role of ultraviolet rays that harm our health.

Diwali Celebration10 November 2012
To commemorate the festival of lights in a meaningful way and to encourage charity and philanthropy, Sangam University initiated a social campaign to bring smiles to the underprivileged school children of Sundarpura village. To inculcate and impart the tradition and culture of charity among students, students organized a day activity in the Govt., School of Sundarpura village. it was a unique way of celebrating Diwali whereby sweets, chocolates and crackers were distributed among the children . The children actively participated in poetry and singing. it was an eye opening experience to witness the conditions that these children live in , and this lead the students of our university to distribute blankets during the biting cold winter .
Blood Donation Camp17 September 2012
Executive Director Sangam india Ltd Mr.V.K.Sodani inaugurated a Mega Blood Donation Drive on 17th September at Sangam University in association with akhil Bharatiya Terapanth Yuvak Parishad . Together ,our students and faculty members took turns to voluntarily donate blood and perceived it as their contribution towards the welfare of the society .Mr.Sodani said “We Have , We Can” and donated total 463 units of blood from Sangam Group which includes 251 units from University and 212 from Sangam india . the combined efforts of one and all in Bhilwara resulted in an all time record collection of 1893 units of blood in a single day catapulting Bhilwara to all india 10th position and contributed 96,600 units of blood throughout india.

On National Education Day 11th November, we organized the ISTE Workshop “Aakash for Education” .Faculty members and students across various departments of Sangam University enthusiastically participated in the proceedings. We had joined the national Education Day event at Vigyanv Bhawan , New Delhi, through online video conferencing .The Honorable President of India Shri Pranab Mukherjee unveiled the Aakash Tablet Version 2.0 in the presence of many countries around the world .it was exhilarating to be a part of such a grand function and our students enjoyed the day thoroughly.
Republic Day Celebration26 January 2012
: The joy and enthusiasm of the entire nation resounded in the college campus with throbbing sounds of “vande Matram” on 64th Republic day. Chairperson of Sangam University Shri R.P.Soni hoisted the national flag and that was followed by a traditional march past. President of Sangam University emphasized that every citizen should work hard and contribute positively towards the country. The program commenced with mesmerizing poems and songs and the exciting function culminated with the recital of the national anthem.
National Girl Child Day24 January 2012
Sangam University celebrated National Girl Child Day on 24th January. The program was initiated with the lamp lighting ceremony followed by poem recitation in the praise of girl child by well known poets of Bhilwara Shri S.L.Lohani khalis,Mrs.Divya Oberoi ,Mrs.Shikha Naval Jagetia and Mr.Narendra Verma .Prof. Shambhunath Tiwari ,Chief guest of the day ,from Aligarh Muslim University gave the keynote address highlighting the importance of women and gender equality in society.Theme speaker Ms. Antima Soni shared her views and said, “a girl should have self respect “.The online celebrity of the event was Mrs.Anshu Jamshepa of Arunachal Pradesh, who is the first woman of india that climbed mount Everest twice within a span of ten days. She achieved “young Indian Leader “award of CNN-IBN. She believes that girls should not underestimate themselves as they can excel in all the aspects of life when compared to boys. The programme concluded with an oath taking ceremony that focused on “the importance of girl education and save the girl child.
