Considered to be the most diverse amongst the engineering fields, Mechanical Engineering embraces areas such as automotive systems, combustion engineering, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, control of dynamic systems, design of mechanical systems, manufacturing processes and systems, tribology, materials behavior and processing etc. In other words, Mechanical Engineers design materials, machines and other sub-systems to perform an intended function. They broadly deal with issues related to energy conversion, interfacing mechanical components with other sub-systems, interfacing man and machine, and the control of the different sub-systems.
The Electrical Engineering discipline aims to provide quality education with stress on strong foundations and thorough understanding of the basic principles that underlie modern electrical and electronic technology.This course serves as an introduction to the field of electrical engineering through various hands on experiences. Students will gain skills in using breadboards, electronic components and electrical test equipment. Students will be introduced to concept in both electrical systems and devices that will be developed more completely in later courses, so this courses serve as an overview of the breadth of electrical engineering courses. The course includes laboratory session and lecture sessions. Grading is based on pre lab assignments, laboratory reports and a final exam.

Civil engineering is a discipline that deals with the design, construction, and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including works such as roads, bridges, canals, dams, airports, sewerage systems, pipelines, and railways.Civil engineering is traditionally broken into a number of sub-disciplines. It is the second-oldest engineering discipline , and it is defined to distinguish non-military engineering from military engineering.Civil engineering takes place in the public sector from municipal through to national governments, and in the private sector from individual homeowners through to international companies.Civil engineers typically possess an academic degree in civil engineering. The length of study is three to five years, and the completed degree is designated as a bachelor of engineering. The curriculum generally includes classes in physics, mathematics, project management, design and specific topics in civil engineering. Today many of the Engineering courses are coming down but Civil Engineering is flourishing. Many, demand based, new fields have been added in Civil to accommodate need of today.
