Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp

The objective of the camp is to enhance and boost the basic skills of the students who want to start a new venture, the students were enabled to know the various schemes by the government. The experts bestowed the maxims and elaborated how to make a start, the resource person also discussed the features of a successful entrepreneur with the students.

IBM Workshop

Representative of IBM did workshop with the students of BBA & MBA on 10thOctober, 2017 about business-analytics and cloud-computing.


Students of B-School participated in 2 days fest UNIQUEST (inter college competition) held at Pacific University, Udaipur on November 2 & 3 in various activities. Team SU secured first position in business quiz, second position in virtual trading and third position in fashion show.

It was a very wonderful experience as like of every year we won challenges as students of Sangam University we leave a mark of battle fighters. We now know what things to improve in ourselves to be the 1st.

Financial Literacy Programme & Seminar on National Stock Exchange

Eco-Fin Club organized a Financial Literacy Programme & Seminar on National Stock Exchange on 9th Nov,  in which information was shared  regarding the various  investment avenues available along with their risk and rewards, Indian Financial System, taxation basic savings principle, avoiding frauds in stock market.  B-school students participated in the program.

Aashayein 2017″- a ray of hope

B-School organized an exhibition (having art & craft shop and fun & food) to inculcate entrepreneurial acumen among students on 14th October,2017, the fest presented an exceptionally wide selection of traditional and contemporary mélange of the work of great artists and craftsmen of Bhilwara and its nearby places, who will also showcase their talents in this maiden fest. Some of the highlights are Kawad art (Rare art of Bassi), Thewa Art (Rare and antique art of Pratapgarh), Jute work, Bandhej Art, art, Phad Painting, drawing, sculpture, and photography and other craft work.

Debate on Post GST implications

SU Eco-fin Club organized a debate competition on “Post GST implications on Indian Economy” in campus on 23 September,2017  .Renowned  Chartered Accountants of the city also shared their views and encouraged the students to organize such activities. The aim of the event was to acumen students about GST and related concept through expert session. Also to discern students from both the aspects on given topic i.e.  Favor and against through debate competition.

This session helped us to understand post GST implication on Indian economy. That what is GST is all about & how will it impact on common man & economy of country & its advantages in long run.

Post-Budget Analysis

Students under the aegis of Eco-Fin club organized Post-Budget Analysis Competition on 04 March 2017, to promote awareness and understanding of the financial activities. Participants from various colleges participated in the event. Students of SU B-School won the prizes.

Independence Day Celebration

On the auspicious  day of Independence , a Carnival was organized by SU–B.School at City Centre Mall, Bhilwara. It is marked to celebrate our nationhood. Having a special day each year to commemorate, independence ensures that we never forget about this momentous occasion in history.

Selection @ carpe diem 2016 of IIM Calcutta

Carpe Diem 2016, a largest annual cultural festival of IIM Calcutta which is one of the most awaited event among students across India. To select the students for carp diem, Mr. Kartik Mehta, Executive from IIM-Calcutta visited Sangam University and conducted a session on entrepreneur and soft skills followed by selection quiz session. We are proud to share that our five management studies students Gourav Agrawal, Poorvi Sodani, Tanuj Raizuday Kalash Agarwal and Sejal Bapna get selected to showcase their talent in the cultural festival to be held on 29-30 Jan 2016.

Exhilarations of selected students for IIM Calcutta carpe diem

“OPPORTUNITY” is knocking at your door, Wake Up and Chase it”. Carpe-Diem at IIM Calcutta is one of the most eagerly awaited events in B-School calendars. It provides a platform for the participants to showcase their talent in music, dance, quizzing, adventure sports, creativity, theater and literary events (over 60+ events). Luckily I am one of those five students who got selected to further participate in IIM Carpe Diem to be held at IIM Calcutta. I am extremely thankful to my University for providing giving me this opportunity to prove myself.”- Sejal Bafna, BBA II Year.

I am excited to participate in IIM Calcutta carpe diem. It’s a great feeling as I have been selected from Sangam University to compete with IIM students at Calcutta. Seminar and Workshop

Sangam University has organized one month Industrial Automation Certified PLC/SCADA course in the month of June 2015 for third-year electrical engineering students. Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) is a digital computer used for automation of industrial processes, such as control of machinery on factory assembly lines. SCADA stands for supervisory control and data acquisition. The term SCADA usually refers to centralized systems which monitor and control entire sites or complexes of systems spread out over large areas (anything between an industrial plant and a country). As a PLC SCADA Engineer, you are going to monitor the servers and software that allow for communication with the field equipment. SCADA is even used in hospitals for researching the obscure disease and for correlating data.

Seminar and Workshop

Sangam University conducted two days workshop on “PCB Design” for Diploma and B.Tech students of all branches on 21 and 22 Nov. 2014. The main aim of this workshop was to provide exposure in real time PCB fabrication.

Cyber Security - July

Sangam University Bhilwara Rajasthan – Two-week ISTE Workshop on Cyber Security under the National Mission on Education through ICT MHRD Govt. of India from 10th July to 20th July 2014 conducted by IIT Bombay Prof. Bernard L. Menezes who is the author of the book titled “Network Security and Cryptography”. A complimentary copy of the book was also given to each of the participants.

This workshop trained the teachers for adopting the use of MOOCs in general, and empowered them to use the blended model in particular; it has been decided to run some of the T10KT workshops, partially using the MOOCs approach.

This workshop provided us training to make extensive use of Technology in teaching pedagogy

Computer Networking- June

The workshop was organized from 16 June to 21 June 2014. This workshop aimed at improving the teaching skills of faculty in core engineering.   • Sangam is a remote center for conducting ISTE workshops under national mission on education through information and communication technology (nmeict) under mhrd govt. Of India in alliance with various IIT’s.

Fluid Mechanics- May

The workshop was organized from 20 May to 30 May 2014. In this intensive course, the professors of IIT Kharagpur covered various topics related to fluid statics, fluid kinematics, Reynolds transport theorem, Stokes law of viscosity and Navier, Internal flows, and External Flows.

BSE awareness workshop Aug

Sangam University joined hands with a Ph.D. chamber of commerce and BSE (Bombay Stock Exchange) for conducting a workshop. Mr. Harbinder Singh Sokhi expert from BSE (Bombay Stock Exchange) conducted the session which was enthusiastically attended by the faculty members and students of Sangam University. The session started with the history and evolution of BSE, various investment avenues including the stock options, money market and capital market, the role of department of investor services, do’s and don’ts of primary and secondary markets procedures for dealing with brokers and sub-brokers, mutual funds, risk management, equity saving schemes for tax saving benefits, and steps involved in becoming a capital market investor, role of SEBI etc.

MSME workshop Aug

Mr. K.C. Bhukesh, Assistant Director and Consultant Mr. R.S. Shekhawat from MSME Jaipur visited Sangam University and conducted an interactive session highlighting the need for the Entrepreneurial culture among youth including the importance of MSME in the economy of India and basis for classification of enterprises under micro small and medium enterprises as well as the various incentives available for setting up MSME.
