Industry Orientation June, 2018
An Industry Orientation was organized and coordinated for the students of B.Tech. (CS/ME/EE) and MCA from 1st June to 9th June 2018. Industrial Orientation is an approach of learning from an industry perspective. Main objective is to give exposure to practical industrial environment to make them ready for further internship and placements.

An industrial visit to A infrastructure was organized to understand basic work flow of an industry. Students were exposed to manufacturing of corrugated sheets and pipes.
Overall this orientation was beneficial for students to understand prospective career choices and fields. They can select their electives on the basis of basic understanding of various filed. Visits were equally important to give them practical exposure at plant site.

Session was specifically designed for Management students and aimed to prepare them campus placement ready. Mr. Ashish discussed about effective communication skills, corporate and grooming etiquettes, Interview Skills, Presentation Skills, Group Discussion, Leadership and time management. Session was very learning oriented and full of hands on activities.

The session on “Market is dynamic- How to become employable?” was taken by Mr. Neeraj Singh Rathore. The session was good. He started with the concept of ‘Think Different and how to achieve success in life’. He talked about various employability skills and taught about the importance of management in life. He also talked about how to create a set of milestones that will help you move towards goal of life without losing focus. The overall session was full of learning and created an aura of understanding the hidden potential of oneself.

Prof. Suprio Banerjee, alumni of XLRI Jamshedpur delivered a Training session for students of SU. He explained the important of personality development through practical activities during the session. The session was comprising resume building, goal setting, personality traits, and team building sessions.
Pre Placement Talk by Tech Mahindra
In reference of Job Fair to be organized at SU campus on 9th April, 2016, we are organizing a pre-placement session from Tech Mahindra on 4th April starting from 10:30 AM. Trainer Profile: Ms. Shrija Kaul Senior Corporate Trainer at Tech Mahindra Certified trainer from ITOL (Institute of Training and Occupational Learning), London. Have done a diploma course in Training & Development from ISTD (Indian Society of Training & Development), Delhi and pursuing her PGDHRM from NMIMS, Mumbai. Have 6 years of experience working with the IT industry.
Personality Development Program
In addition to preparing our students academically, the Corporate Resource Center at Sangam University offers a six-month long Personality Development Program in order to groom the students for placements. This is free of cost program that we encourage our final year students to participate in. This program includes an aptitude test, mock interviews, group discussion, role plays, technical exercises etc. We have found this to be a very useful program in the previously too and continue to adapt to the industrial needs as years pass by.
Seminar on Leadership Development
Leadership Development Workshop was organized by Miss Antima Soni, an alumnus of Cardiff University, Advisor to Sangam University, Dr. NK Mathur, Principal of ITM, Mr. Pavan Mandowra, Assistant Professor of Sangam University. This day-long workshop was conducted for senior and mid-level managers of Sangam Spinners, Sangam Processors, Sangam Suitings, Sangam University and Sangam School of Excellence. It aimed at understanding the evolution of strategy by identifying root cause problems of organizations, negotiations, and time management.
Poster Competetion & Clean Campus Drive
Social and Green Club of Sangam University organized a poster making competition based on “Clean and Green Campus” also hands on the beautification of the campus by cleaning garbage with teams of students and faculty members.
An interesting Financial Interactive talk was delivered to the students of Sangam University on evolution of central banking and the role of Central Bank in economies of countries by Dr. Sathyan David, Regional Director, RBI, Jaipur.

A Quiz followed by Exhibition on “Import – Export and Foreign Exchange Management” conducted by Senior Executives of Reserve Bank of India, Human Resource & Financial Literacy Cell, Jaipur.
Srinivasa Ramanujam Mathematical Competition
Which was announced by ISTE for engineering students. This contest aims to stimulate the creativity and excel the mathematical talent of the students. Fifty-two students took part in this competition. ISTE competition was an opportunity for the students to showcase their talents at a National level.
