M.Sc. Chemistry
The Department of Chemistry started functioning since the inception of SU in the year 2012. The PG program M.Sc. Chemistry offered by the department has successfully completed its journey of excellence for around 12 years. The department is also offering Ph.D. program in Chemistry. The department has good infrastructure, enthusiastic, competent, well-qualified and dedicated faculty. Through conferences, seminars, publications, patents, research, publications, and consulting, our department is constantly striving for excellence. The primary focus of the M.Sc. Chemistry course is on Organic and Applied Chemistry. Over four semesters, both theory and laboratory courses are taught at an advanced level. In addition to this, the course offers subjects like Inorganic, Organic, Physical and Analytical Chemistry. Six months Internship or Major Research Project is a compulsory part for the completion of M.Sc. Chemistry degree.
