The word SANGAM means a Confluence of rivers, denoting an act of coming together or all merging into one. To uphold this unity, Sangam University (SU) has been established by Badrilal Soni Charitable trust and promoted by Sangam Group of Industries with the mission to make world class higher education affordable and accessible to all sections of society. The vision of our University is to become a center of excellence for holistic development and global education by cultivating and nurturing young minds to transform into global leaders of the future. The University tries to provide a professional environment along with imbibing a sense of moral and human values. We are committed to bring forth an educational milieu which is tuned to the needs of global markets. The Sangam University found in the year 2012 with state-of-the-art infrastructure and facilities with the aim to change the face of the nation to develop highly skilled youths for meeting the global challenges. The University is offering 21 UG and 37 PG Programmes, besides Ph.D. Programmes in different disciplines.
Realizing the importance of agriculture growth and development in assuming the food and livelihood security of its population, the Government of Rajasthan (GOR) gave priority to develop agriculture education, research and extension in the state. Further, the GOR has also permitted to start agriculture education in private sector to those institutions, which have sufficient facilities as per ICAR guidelines. Keeping this in view, the Sangam University started School of Agriculture Science and Technology (SOAST) in the year 2018 as constituent school after approval from the Government of Rajasthan. The SOAST is having under graduate degree Programme in Agriculture ie. B Sc (Hons.) Ag. and implemented 3+1 course module having 6 semester course work and two semesters of student Rural and Entrepreneurship Awareness Development Yojna (READY) programme as per V Deans‟ committee of ICAR recommendations.
