B.Sc. (PCM/CBZ)
The Department of Applied Sciences offers a B.Sc. (PCM/CBZ) program that adheres to the Outcome Based Education (OBE) and Choice Based Credit System (CBCS). The emphasis is on teaching students the principles and developments in all branches of chemistry so they may connect ideas to current scientific events and develop strong conceptual understanding in order to become future researchers and scholars.
Duration: 3 Yrs. (6 Semesters)
ELIGIBILITY
A student must have passed in Physics, Chemistry, and Maths/Biology as core subjects with a minimum of 50 % aggregate marks in 10+2 from a recognized institution and board.
Admission Criteria
SU Entrance Exam, CUET, or subject to fulfilling eligibility criteria.
Program Education Objectives [PEO]
PEO1: The Students will able to pursue higher studies in related fields including management.
PEO 2: The Students will able to develop confidence to appear for SSC, IBPS, RRB and Civil services exam and will occupy higher posts in administrative level in government/ Private sectors
PEO 3: The Students will able to develop teaching skills, Subject knowledge in the course of their study which will help them to shine in various fields including Education, IT, etc.

PO 5: Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern chemical IT tools including prediction and modeling to complex chemical activities with an understanding of the limitations.(Modern tool usage)
