Educational Tour of Research Scholars of Botany Department
Research scholar’s pursuing Ph.D. under supervision of Dr. Shahdab Hussainin department of Botany visits the Bhainsrorgarh Wildlife sanctuary on 24-08-21. In this visit Dr. Shahdab Hussaincollect the rare, endangered and endemic Pteridophytic plant species from dense forest area. These plant species belongs to Selaginella, Isoeties, Ophioglossum have been collected by Dr. Shahdab Hussain and Shweta Yadav, which are new record to the Bhainsrorgarh Wildlife sanctuary and some of them for Rajasthan.
These are the remarkable plant specimen, in which some species of Ophioglossumare the new record to the pteridophytic flora of Rajasthan. During this visit the students learn about the survival potential, Conservation aspects, and present status of Pteridophytes of Bhainsrorgarh Wildlife sanctuary.
