On June 1, 2022, the School of Basic & Applied Science: Department of Zoology, in association with NSS collectively organized an Expert session and outreach activity on Health and Hygiene Awareness in nearby adopted Anganwadi Kendra, Gatilakheda village. Prof. Arti Prasad, Head, Department of Zoology, MLSU is invited as an Expert. Prof. Arti Prasad talked about the awareness of various types of mosquito-borne diseases. She gave information about mosquitoes of dengue, malaria, filariasis, chikungunya and discussed its symptoms for early treatment. She explained to villagers where mosquitoes can breed and how to clean them properly to prevent these diseases. Honorable President Prof. Krunesh Saxena, Registrar Prof. Rajeev Mehta, Dean Prof. Preeti Mehta, Lt. Rajkumar Jain and faculty members appealed to all villagers to spread the awareness among the village.
