Botanical Garden inaugurated at Sangam University

The Botanical Garden was inaugurated at the Department of Science, School of Basic and Applied Science in Sangam University today on 16/08/2021 by Shri RijuJhunjhunwala, Chairman, RSWM. The program was inaugurated by Dr. Rajeev Mehta, Registrar, Sangam University by given a bouquet to Shri RijuJhunjhunwala.

Dr.Shadab Hussain and Kishore Singh Chauhan of Science Department told that plants used for medicinal importance, beautification and research work have been planted in the garden.

These plants are very important for the practical work of B. Sc., M. Sc. and researchers. Plants of Arjuna, Belpatra, Sandalwood, Amaltas and Ficus species have been used in these plants, which are used for heart disease treatment, diabetes, and diarrhoea and skin diseases.

On this occasion, Registrar of the University Professor Dr. Rajeev Mehta and Mr.RijuJhunjhunwala planted saplings and on this occasion Lt. Rajkumar Jain, P.R.O., Dr. Harish Nagar, Deputy Dean School of Basic and Applied Science, Dr.Preeti Mehta, Deputy Dean IQAC, Dr.Rakesh Bhandari Deputy Dean Research, Dr.Vinesh Agarwal Deputy Dean School of Engineering Technology and all the faculty members of the department were present.
