College of Agriculture
Rajasthan's economy has dependent mainly on agriculture since its formation in 1949. Realizing the importance of agriculture growth and development in assuming the food and livelihood security of its population, the Government of Rajasthan (GOR) gave priority to develop agriculture education, research and extension in the state. Further, the GOR has also permitted to start Agriculture education in private sector to those institutions who have sufficient facilities as per ICAR guidelines. Keeping this in view, the Sangam University started School of Agriculture Science and Technology (SOAST) in the year 2018 after approval from the Government of Rajasthan.
The Sangam University found in the year 2012 with state-of-the-art infrastructure and facilities with the aim to change the face of the nation to develop highly skilled youths for meeting the global challenges in terms of various technologies, management, engineering, science and above all now agriculture. At SOAST, we inspire you to be analytical and innovative, so you can solve the problem of food, nutritional and livelihood security of the country.
