B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering

Course Goals
Providing students with hands-on experience in laboratory settings, as well as practical experience through internships and other opportunities. Fostering an understanding of ethical and professional responsibilities, including the need to consider safety, environmental impacts, and societal needs in mechanical engineering projects.
Duration & Eligibility
The eligibility criteria for the B.Tech Lateral Entry program include a minimum aggregate score of 60% in the diploma or degree program, as well as a qualifying score on an entrance examination.
Merit Scholarship is applicable only for Indian National Board in following SU Programme only B.Tech (All), BCA, Diploma In Engineering, BBA, BHM, B.Sc., BBA-LLB, BA-LLB, B.Sc. Agri+MBA, Diploma in Agri., BMC, B.Com
B. Tech Lateral Entry
The B.Tech Lateral Entry program typically lasts for three years and is structured to cover the same coursework as the regular B.Tech program, but at an accelerated pace. Students will generally focus on advanced topics in their chosen field of engineering, and will also be required to take some general education courses.
Graduates of the B.Tech Lateral Entry program can pursue a wide range of career options in the field of engineering, including positions in research and development, design, manufacturing, and testing. They can also choose to pursue further studies by enrolling in a master's degree program in engineering or a related field.
(A) Passed Diploma examination with at least 45% in appropriate branch of Engineering.
(B) Passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University with at least 45% marks and Passed 10 +2 examination with Mathematics as a subject.
The B.Tech Lateral Entry program is designed to provide students with an opportunity to continue their education in engineering or technology and gain a degree in the same field.
