The BBA & LLB Integrated Course offers a practical curriculum for undergraduates who choose a legal practice in the future. The management lessons of BBA will prepare them for the corporate sector. The course is an integration of law and business subjects. The career opportunities therefore are much wider.

For several decades, getting a Law degree after 10+2 schooling would take 6 years - three for getting a B.A., B.Com or BBA followed by another three years for LLB. The 5 year integrated Law program lets students save on time, effort and money by going through another academic year. It enables law students to develop and hone skills across a wide spectrum. The students gain a broad and thorough understanding of the legal system prevailing in the country.

After completion of the course, they can go on to work as lawyers, legal advisors, law reporters, legal assistants, etc. The program is typically of five years duration, and students receive both a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree upon completion.

Course Goals

The course goal of a BBA-LLB (Integrated) program is to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of both business administration and law.Acquire a deep understanding of legal concepts and principles related to various areas of law, including contract law, tort law, criminal law, intellectual property law, and corporate law.

1. How long does a BBA.LL.B integrated course take?
The course is an integration of of Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Law, it takes 5 years time for successful completion of the course. As Sangam University follow the semester pattern, the whole program is divided into 10 semesters.
2. What is the eligibility criteria for BBA LLB?

As per the Rules of the Bar Council of India (BCI), the following are the eligible criteria:

  • Candidate must have passed Senior Secondary Examination (+2) through regular schooling.
  • BCI has stipulated minimum percentage as 45% of total marks in case of General Category applicants, 42% for OBC category and 40% of the total marks in case of SC and ST applicants.
  • BCI has decided to have upper age limit for 5 years integrated courses as 22 years.
3. Which is the better course BBA LLB or BA LLB?
At the end of both the courses, candidates will be qualified Bachelor of Law and are eligible to appear in various jobs and other higher education related to law. The prefix used in the courses, i.e., BA or BBA denotes specific specializations. A candidate having BA.LL.B degree is presumed to have sound knowledge of subjects such as Political Science, Sociology, etc., whereas in case of BBA.LL.B, a candidate is presumed to have knowledge of the subjects like Business Administration, Oeganizational Behaviour, etc. Though such specializations in majority cases do not have any impact on career.
4. What is the career scope of BBA LLB?
After completion of the course, they can go on to work as lawyers, legal advisors, law reporters, legal assistants, etc. Moreover as they are having knowledge about business administration, they can opt for corporates as law officers or Manager of Legal department.
5. Can I apply for a BBA LLB integrated course after any graduation degree?
Yes, a candidate can apply but the upper age limit restriction by the BCI should be kept in mind.
