Message
Welcome to the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Sangam University.
Quality is the foundation of institutional excellence and the driving force behind sustainable growth in higher education. At Sangam University, IQAC is committed to nurturing a culture of continuous quality enhancement by integrating innovation, accountability, and excellence into every academic and administrative process. Guided by the principles of the NEP 2020, and the National Higher Education Qualifications Framework (NHEQF), we strive to build a future-ready institution that is learner-centric, research-driven, technology-enabled, and globally competitive.
IQAC serves as the University's strategic quality enabler by promoting outcome-based education, streamlined documentation, evidence-based governance, academic and administrative audits, digital quality management, faculty and staff capacity building, research excellence, and stakeholder engagement. Our initiatives strengthen institutional effectiveness, enhance student success, foster innovation and entrepreneurship, and cultivate a culture of transparency, inclusivity, and continuous improvement.
We believe that quality is not an event but an institutional ethos achieved through collective commitment and shared responsibility. Together with our students, faculty, staff, alumni, industry partners, and the wider community, we are shaping an ecosystem that inspires excellence, creates societal value, and contributes meaningfully to national priorities and global aspirations.
Vision
To build and ensure systematic quality processes through institutionalizing and internalizing all the initiatives for sustaining excellence in all the spheres of academic and administrative practices.
Mission
- To be the driving force for ushering in quality with an approach of satisfaction of stakeholders..
- To develop a robust quality improvement system for realizing the vision of the University.
- To ensure a learner-centric environment equipped with the latest techniques and technologies of teaching, research and sharing knowledge.
- Acting as a nodal agency of the University for coordinating quality-related activities, including adoption and dissemination of best practices.
Functions
1. Development of quality benchmarks
Development and application of quality benchmarks and parameters for various academic and administrative activities of the institution. IQAC sets the institutional standards against which performance is measured.
2. Learner-centric environment
Facilitating creation of learner-centric environment conducive to quality education and faculty maturation to adopt the required knowledge and technology for participatory teaching-learning process.
3. Feedback systems
Arrangement for feedback responses from students, parents, and other stakeholders on quality-related institutional processes. Feedback drives continuous improvement.
4. Information dissemination
Dissemination of information on various quality parameters of higher education to institutional stakeholders. Internal communication about quality standards and institutional performance.
5. Quality workshops & seminars
Organisation of inter and intra institutional workshops, seminars on quality-related themes and promotion of quality circles. Capacity building for institutional quality function.
6. Quality documentation
Documentation of various programmes and activities leading to quality improvement. Building the evidence trail that feeds AQAR and SSR submissions.
7. Nodal agency for quality coordination
Acting as a nodal agency for coordinating quality-related activities including AQAR preparation and SSR ownership during accreditation cycles. Under MBGL framework, also coordinates Level-specific evidence preparation and DCF 2025 alignment.
