One-Day Workshop on Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Design
The Department of Engineering, School of Engineering and Technology (SOET), Sangam University, Bhilwara, successfully organized a one-day workshop on “Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Design” in collaboration with BIM Crafter Company on 30 October 2026. The session was conducted by Mr. Naman Vijayvargiya and attended by 46 students and 4 faculty members from EE, CE, and ME. The workshop introduced participants to modern BIM tools, 3D modelling, multidisciplinary design coordination, and industry applications.
Benefits: The workshop enhanced students’ understanding of industry-oriented digital design practices, BIM software, and building design coordination. It helped bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical industry applications while improving awareness of technical skills, professional requirements, and career opportunities in BIM modelling and engineering design.
The programme was conducted under the guidance and approval of Prof. Vikas Somani, Dean, School of Engineering and Technology (SOET), Sangam University.
