A symposium is organised on World Ozone Conservation Day by School of Basic and Applied Sciences on 16 September 2019 to creat learning about the causes and harmful effect of ozone layer depletion. Deputy Dean Dr Preeti Mehta focused on environment friendly techniques to minimize this phenomenon in her speech.

भीलवाड़ा । संगम विश्वविद्यालय के स्कूल ऑफ बेसिक एंड अप्लाइड साइंस विभाग के डिप्टी डीन एवं स्वच्छता एक्शन प्लान कमेटी के कन्वीनर डॉ हरीश नागर ने बताया कि, आज अंतर्राष्ट्रीय साइनेज दिवस पर विश्वविद्यालय में स्वच्छता पॉलिसी को लेकर कई तरह के कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन किया गया l जिसमें प्रमुख तौर पर परिसर में स्वच्छता को ध्यान में रखते हुए स्वच्छता नीति बनाए रखने के लिए छात्रों तथा प्राध्यापक गणों द्वारा वृक्षारोपण कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया गया l

Research scholar’s pursuing Ph.D. under supervision of Dr. Shahdab Hussainin department of Botany visits the Bhainsrorgarh Wildlife sanctuary on 24-08-21. In this visit Dr. Shahdab Hussaincollect the rare, endangered and endemic Pteridophytic plant species from dense forest area. These plant species belongs to Selaginella, Isoeties, Ophioglossum have been collected by Dr. Shahdab Hussain and Shweta Yadav, which are new record to the Bhainsrorgarh Wildlife sanctuary and some of them for Rajasthan.

Students of Sangam University did a two day education tour from 1, April 2021 to 2, April 2021 at Jaipur. During the two day tour in Jaipur students and faculty members visited Leopard Safari, Nahargarh Lion Safari, Biodiversity Park, Plantarium Show Birla Auditorium and Amer Fort. The visit was led by the university Associate professor, Dr. Sudha Sammarwar.

School of Basic and Applied Science Sangam University organized two days National Seminar on the occasion of National Science Day on 28 February and 01 March 2021. The theme of the seminar was “Future of Science, Technology and Innovation: Impacts on Education Skills and Work”. Many eminent personalities attended the seminar in the online as well as in offline mode. Researchers and professors also presented their presentation on the occasion of National Science Day.

On June 1, 2022, the School of Basic & Applied Science: Department of Zoology, in association with NSS collectively organized an Expert session and outreach activity on Health and Hygiene Awareness in nearby adopted Anganwadi Kendra, Gatilakheda village. Prof. Arti Prasad, Head, Department of Zoology, MLSU is invited as an Expert. Prof. Arti Prasad talked about the awareness of various types of mosquito-borne diseases.
