Dean Message
As quoted by the former President of India and reverend scientist Dr. APJ Kalam, “the purpose of education is to make good human beings with skill and expertise.” With the aim of realizing the above statement, experienced, proficient and adept subject experts in their respective subject areas have been appointed as faculty in the School of Arts and Humanities. Under the able guidance of experienced faculty, students of the school, in addition to the traditional methods like classroom teaching, develop curiosity, thoughtfulness, through field visits, field surveys, model making, poster making, painting and by participation in quiz, exhibitions, sports, music and drama. Continuously moving towards overall development of creativity, team spirit and personality.
I believe that technology should be used appropriately in the teaching-learning process conducted in classrooms. To achieve this objective, the School of Arts and Humanities has been equipped with Geography Lab, Language Lab, Projector etc. Apart from this, essential resources for the students of Fine Arts, Drawing and Painting and Music have been consolidated. Books are the first friends of any student. With the aim of promoting student's access to books, motivating students for competitive examinations and developing the research spirit among students, valuable books, research texts and journals have been compiled in the school.
